A team that solicits and reviews proposals from solar companies. First, Solar United Neighbors requests bids on your behalf. Then, a committee of your fellow co-op members meet to assess the pros and cons and select the best installer for the group. (Note: If that sounds interesting to you, you’re also welcome to join the selection committee!)

Example Pricing only; Actual system size will vary; *2% electricity price increase per year, 13.80 cents/kWh electricity rate, -0.5% panel degradation per year, 1,217 yearly kWh production per 1kW of solar. SREC prices are market-based and therefore subject to change.

Centre County 2024 Solar Co-op selects Sun Directed to serve group

The Centre County 2024 Solar & EV Charger Co-op has selected Sun Directed to install solar panels for the group. Co-op members selected Sun Directed through a competitive bidding process over four other firms. They were chosen for their pricing, equipment options, and experience. Sun Directed will provide each co-op member with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, members can save off the cost of going solar and have the support of fellow group members and solar experts at Solar United Neighbors.
30% credit (up to $4,000) toward the purchase of a qualified used electric vehicle or fuel cell vehicle costing $25,000 or less
The credit is available to individuals and is nonrefundable
Your modified adjusted gross income may not exceed:
$150,000 for married filing jointly or surviving spouse
$112,500 for heads of household
$75,000 for all other filers
The vehicle must have a sale price of $25,000 or less, have a model year at least 2 years earlier than the calendar year when you buy it, have a battery capacity of at least 7 kWh
